It’s counter-intuitive, but real: Vista isn’t faster (generally speaking) than XP, and WM 6 isn’t faster than 5.0. Shouldn’t Microsoft make speed a priority improvement between versions?

I’ve been using WM 6 on a (undisclosed) Smartphone for several weeks now, and I can tell you that WM 6 is not faster, or at least noticeably, than 5.0. Code optimization, anyone?
