Remember when Office 2010 x64 Beta wouldn’t work with Windows Mobile Device Center for syncing with Windows Mobile Devices? Since you couldn’t install x86 versions of Offie 2010 beta on x64 versions of Windows at the time (newer builds could), we wondered if Windows Phones would sync with Outlook in the future at all. The final version of Office 2010 is now available to MSDN & Technet Subscribers and will be available at retail in June. Luckily it is now possible to install the 32-bit x86 version of Office 2010 on x64 versions of Windows, and you’re going to have to do that if you want to sync your Windows Phone with Outlook 2010 using Windows Mobile Device Center.
