In this final look at the nine year old iPAQ H3650, we compare the interface of the Pocket PC 2002 operating system with that of Microsoft’s latest and greatest, Windows Mobile 6.5.

We find that although many years have passed, things have stayed pretty much the same in terms of the interface between the two devices. Fortunately OEMs such as HTC and Samsung have built their own interfaces on top of Windows Mobile, which helps to conceal the staleness of the platform.

We’re liking what we see with successor to Windows Mobile 6.5 (known as 6.5.1) and especially Windows Mobile 7, which will bring a much needed visual overhaul to the platform that consumers have been craving.
