Palm Axes PDA

Palm is going smartphone only. No more PDAs according to Engadget Mobile. This is certainly the direction that the industry is headed, but sad none the less since Palm had made a namesake for itself in the handheld PDA industry. The newly revamped Palm website shows off the firm’s current three models: the Treo Pro (still GSM only), the Treo 800w, and the Palm OS-powered Centro. Soon, let’s hope that Palm announces a new smartphone with its next generation “Nova” operating system.
