Mobile-Friendly Gift Idea #1: microSD Memory Kit

As the season of “buying stuff” begins, we thought we’d offer some gift ideas for the mobile-enthusiasts that are within your circle of family or friends. We’ll be doing this for the next few weeks.

To start, we have the Kingston 2GB Memory kit, priced at $16.37. It gives you not only a 2GB microSD card (now the standard for expandable memory in cell phones), but it adds an SD and miniSD adapter, plus a super-slick (and tiny) USB reader (the red thingy, pictured below) that is small enough to fit on a keychain. Actually, I bought this very item a few weeks ago and have been keeping the red thingy on my keychain, because I can make myself an instant flash memory drive if I pop out the microSD card from my phone, and put it into the adapter. Nice.

P.S. In pocketnow.com tradition, we’ve decorated for the holidays (look at the header =D ).
