This post is hopefully going to fall into the “fact following fiction” category.
Live Search Mobile is one of the most indispensable Windows Mobile applications out there. It makes finding location based information so much easier than using a web browser. So in thinking about what else I still use an annoying web browser for, one of the major things was animated weather radar from Accuweather.
Wouldn’t it be awesome to have a weather radar map overlay in Windows Live Search? You could easily see where the storm is in relationship to where you are or where you’re going. You could zoom/pan around the map or bring up different locations while instantly seeing where the storms are. And with an “Animate” option, you could see how fast the storm is moving and determine whether or not it will be gone by the time your event is scheduled.
Feel free to email the Live Search team if you think this is a good idea.
