Will Ink Notes Come Back to Windows Mobile?

Remember back 10 years ago when the first Pocket PCs arrived? Outlook Mobile was so powerful! You could actually take handwritten notes for just about anything. You could draw pictures in your Calendar appointments, task notes, contact notes. Heck you could even record voice notes in any of those Outlook items. When you synced back to Outlook on the desktop however, things got a little messy. Ink notes turned out to be image objects, and voice notes were WAV attachments that were difficult to work with. Microsoft later removed this awesome feature from Outlook Mobile on Windows Mobile.

In the new Outlook 2010 Technical Preview, Outlook has revamped support for ink notes in any of the Outlook items notes fields! Does this mean the inking support will come back to Outlook Mobile? We hope so!
