Last night HTC threw a couple meetup parties in New York City and LA. There was loud music, drinks, hors d’ourves, Guitar Hero, a Twitter board, free t-shirt give-aways, and a big raffle where two lucky winners got an HTC HD2 and EVO 4G. Of course the real party didn’t start until pocketnow showed up with Windows Mobile fiend and hip-hop legend, Vin Rock of NBN. That’s when the DJ cranked up some “Hip Hop Hooray” and “O.P.P.” action while the HTC employees started tearing up the dance floor. Did you happen to make it to one of the HTC parties last night? What did you think? Has HTC finally earned some brand recognition street cred?
