Forget about the mobile web browser. It sucks. They all suck. There is no way anybody is going to ever make huge desktop-designed cluttered web pages easy-to-use on a tiny mobile phone screen (without reformatting the data), and according to statistics, most people don’t have any interest in viewing web pages on a phone.
I apologize for using the “i” word, but some of you might say, “What about the iPhone? Apple tells me it’s cool to have the real internet on a phone.” Well, all that double tapping to zoom, pinching and expanding fingers, dragging and panningÂ… that’s not easy. That’s a lot of work, and it’s annoying. I want the information I want now, and I want it readable.
