Does the New HTC Touch Diamond Suffer Same Video Problems as TyTN II?

MobilityToday has posted a video review of the basics of the HTC Touch Diamond, which is re-posted below in this article. What the folks at MobilityToday found is that after the device goes into standby mode, upon start up, there is some noticeable “pregnant pauses” where it will take a while for the system to recognize key presses.

I am not sure if this time around HTC had licensed all the Qualcomm drivers that enable full utilization of the graphics and video power of the chipset. HTC did not license those drivers for the HTC TyTN II and some other devices, causing user uproar as it limits the potential of the device.

Also of note is a magnetic stylus that will grab the stylus back into the socket once you begin inserting the stylus again. Also, removal of the stylus will trigger the screen to automatically power on, which is nice.
