Dear Apple: My iPhone No Longer is a Good Paper Weight

Dear Apple:

I'd like to thank you on behalf of all of the Exchange addicts in the audience. It was very wise of you to add true Exchange support in the 2.0 version of the iPhone software. Too bad you're making us wait "a few months." How long is a few months?

Do you think Microsoft realizes they made a huge strategic error in doing this? Do they realize that, unless they act soon by wowing the world with a compelling new version of Windows Mobile, they will soon bleed market share? Did you think they're aware that after the iPhone has Exchange support, the only reason left to go Windows Mobile is because of the variety of devices and form factors available?

Well, you probably don't have those answers. And I surely don't. But thanks again for the Exchange support!

Signed,

Brandon
