When we first saw the Touch Pro2 for AT&T, then known as the Fortress, it featured a red keyboard with a very interesting layout. We got a lot of comments from readers both for and against the keyboard design which smashed together the letters to allow for a dedicated number pad on the right side. Never have we seen a hardware keyboard of a mobile phone feature this sort of number pad.
The device in question, which we now know will be called the AT&T Tilt 2, will feature the offset key pattern characteristic of the Touch Pro2, but with the top row of keys reserved for symbols.
That makes us wonder, which keyboard did you like better? Would you rather have the keys offset with no dedicated area for numbers, or did you like the grid-layout of the Fortress with the number pad to the side?
