The Zune HD won Bronze and Gold awards in the Entertainment and Interactive Product Experiences categories of the 2010 IDEA (International Design Awards). Check out what Michelle Berryman, Echo Visualization, LLC, had to say about the Zune HD’s design:

Hopefully we’ll see similar reactions and awards from Windows Phone 7!
