According to Phone Scoop, Samsung is ready to release its system on a chip wireless USB radio for seamless synchronization. Hopefully, this will hit Windows Mobile with the appropriate drivers and hardware support soon as the technology, in addition to WiFi and Bluetooth, will be really helpful in data synchronization. According to the specs, a 700 MB video file could be transferred in just about two minutes. Samsung’s system on a chip interface will combine SD card, an MMC, a NAND flash memory, and a high-speed USB 2.0 OTG on one simple chip.
If implemented in a simple to use manner, Samsung’s technology would make the Palm Pre‘s wireless charging unit seem archaic as this will bring data transfer in a quick manner without wires and at an energy efficient rate.
