The home screen of Windows Phone 7 Series, which uses the Metro UI will be able to support two tile types: square or rectangular. Consumers will be able to re-arrange tiles by tapping and holding and then dragging the tiles into place, much like the iPhone’s app arrangement scheme. Users can create tiles for frequently called contacts or bookmark web pages to the tile for quick launch. The nice thing is that Windows Phone 7 Series will capture high resolution images for the webpage tile bookmarks.
