In a presentation about Microsoft’s next-generation mobile operating system targeted for consumers, COO Kevin Turner had let it slip that Windows Phone 7 will be coming around October, perhaps for Europe, and in November for the US market. If you’re eager to upgrade to Windows Phone 7 and all of its user experience improvements that the platform brings, along with the radical re-designed structure, Zune support, Xbox integration, and more, you’ll just have a short little longer to wait. Turner says of the release date, “in the October timeframe and the November timeframe, October likely across Europe and November likely across the U.S. we’re back in this game.”
