If you read most technology blog reviewers and their commenters, you might think Microsoft’s Windows Mobile operating system was the worst thing ever. According to ComScore’s, Windows Mobile is still in the top 3 smartphone operating systems in the European Union. It’s even second place in countries like Spain, Italy, and Germany. Android’s market share is still in last place with about 2%.

Well what about the US, you say?

Windows Mobile is still in 3rd place in the U.S. as well. With 15.1% of the market, it’s behind the iPhone and RIM’s Blackberries, but still more than double Android’s 7.1% market share. For more details on these stats, check out AllAboutSymbian.
