At a recent summit, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer was caught stating that he wishes Windows Mobile 7 would have already launched. According to one tweets, which states “Ballmer says they screwed up with Windows Mobile. Wishes they had already lauched WM7. They completely revamped the team.”

Still yet, another Twitterer tweeted:

Ballmer re: poor execution in Windows Mobile: “we’ve pumped in some new talent and said ‘This will not happen again’”

Does that mean that Microsoft poached some new talent from another company?

Hopefully Windows Mobile 7.5 or 8 will launch on time. However, still, it’s good to know that Microsoft remains committed to the platform.
