Last we heard, Windows Mobile 7 would hit shelves by the end of 2010, but the latest news from the slide deck of the Office 2010 presentation slipped that Windows Mobile 7 would be out by Spring 2010 in RTM form, leading Engadget Mobile to speculate that phones and devices will appear on store shelves probably in a few months after that date. If Windows Mobile 7 devices pop out in the fourth quarter, it would give Windows Mobile 6.5 a good 1-year shelf life.
Additionally, from the Office 2010 slide, it looks like Office Mobile for Windows Mobile will be getting some new features, including Office Online integration it seems, as the slide references the ability to access files online. Other features include the ability to add comments to documents and zooming ability.
