Windows Mobile 6.5.1 Makes Things Even More Touch-Friendly

It looks like while Microsoft was preparing for the launch of Windows Mobile 6.5--the official release build--in the months leading up to the October 6 launch, the company has been hard at work behind the scenes to make the operating system a bit more finger-friendly. What is now dubbed as Windows Mobile 6.5.1 on the Internet is actually a combination of what we saw with Windows Mobile 6.5, the touch icons instead of soft menus we're seeing in some of the later builds on cooked ROMs, added to TouchFLO 3D on the ATA&T Tilt2.

The cooked ROM that is being shown on WMExperts was actually designed for run on the GSM Touch Pro2. The screenshot below will show how TouchFLO 3D and the various parts of the ROM will look combined with 6.5.1 and it seems that the location-based weather on the main clock home screen of TF3D that appeared on the HTC Imagio is on the Tilt2 now.

According to WMExperts, the ROM is Build 23071.5.3.0 and is cooked by NRGZ28 on XDA-Developers.
