What Windows Mobile 8 May Bring
Yeah, WinMo 7 is still totally elusive, but it's fun to look even further down the pipeline. As taken from Wikipedia:
It is rumored Windows Mobile 8 will be based on Midori rather than Windows CE. Gizmodo writes about Windows Mobile 8. That's the one that will be started completely from scratch, with "new plumbing." That's Microsoft next-generation OS which will be highly cloud-based, so to make a mobile Operation System from this sort of platform would make sense and is congruent with Microsoft's vision of what a mobile device should be (a connection to your digital lifestyle...a bridge to your media, contacts, preferences, etc).
