What Android Would Look Like With a 3D UI

Now that Microsoft has announced Windows Phone 7 Series, the Google Android OS seems a bit dated, but thanks to The Astonishing Tribe–TAT–a 3D skin of Android may be what is needed to keep the platform fresh. According to Gizmodo, TAT was instrumental in helping to develop the Android UI, and the the new 3D UI adds a TouchFLO or Sense UI feel to the widgets, allowing you to peruse emails and messages without opening the app.

There’s no word whether TAT will release this new home screen UI as a standalone app or if it will be available through OEM partners.
