We Have the Motorola CLIQ XT for T-Mobile In-House

We were at the Motorola briefing late Monday afternoon where we got a demo of the Motorola CLIQ XT and a unit to play with. The device runs MOTOBLUR on top of Android 1.5 and is designed as a slate/tablet form factor for T-Mobile. Specs-wise, it uses a similar processor to the MOTO CLIQ. We’ll have some videos up, but with the Game Developers Conference, MIX10, and CTIA Spring 2010 around the corner, it may be a while. We’ll periodically post about our impressions before a more detailed review comes up, but here are some photos to satisfy your craving for the device.

What’s notable is that Motorola included two back battery covers. There’s a textured rubberized back that feels really good in the hands in classic black as well as a smooth, metallic purple finish for a spunkier day.

There’s also a nice music enhancement, which we’ll cover later in a video, that’s pre-loaded onto the device along with MOTOBLUR.
