Verizon Really Late to the Party with Treo 800w in 2010

If the rumors that Verizon Wireless will actually be getting the Palm Treo 800w in February 2010 are true, then the carrier will really be late to the game. Even Sprint has since replaced its Treo 800w offering in favor of the now aging Treo Pro.

If these rumors are in fact true, Verizon Wireless really needs to speed up its certification and approval process for phones to have access to its wireless network.

There hasn’t been a lot of Windows Mobile news on the Palm front since the company has debuted its webOS operating system and is now actively promoting the Palm Pre, the company’s new flagship smartphone.
