Verizon Omnia II Looks Different Than Euro Version

Verizon users are gearing up for the release of one of the very few smartphones to pack an AMOLED display. The screen on the European Omnia II was super impressive, and we expect that the one on the Verizon model will do the same.

We finally get to see what the facade of the Omnia II on Verizon will look like thanks to some information from the Samsung Support website. For the newer version, the top edge is more rounded, and the cube button has been replaced by an ovalish shape. Also different is that the 3.5mm headphone jack is now on the left side (or so it seems), while the European version had it up top.

As always, expect full coverage of the Verizon Omnia II when it hits the carrier in just a few weeks.

Thanks for the tip, seth.
