Well, maybe not this galaxy as other devices like the BlackBerry and Sidekicks of yore had them, but to the Asus Galaxy 7. You can read all about the WVGA device, which can compete with the Touch HD on PDAdb.net. The main draw: big beautiful screen, trackball, Glide UI, and touch-sensitive buttons.
The new Glide UI looks nice, almost like the Bell UI. WMPowerUser is reporting that the quality is comparable to TouchFLO 3D. Way to go, Asus!
The device looks very high end with metal, soft touch plastic, and a bit of leather–which is similar to the BlackBerry Bold, which has its faux leather on the backside of the device.
The trackball is a great touch as it takes less footprint than a directional pad and is more accurate than the big hardware navigational pad on the Touch Pro and Touch Diamond. On the Touch Pro/Diamond, clicking left or right is sometimes confused for hitting one of the four dedicated buttons on the front fascia.
