Oct. 6 will not only be a big day for Microsoft and the Windows Mobile platform, with the release of Windows Mobile 6.5 along with Marketplace for Mobile, but for carriers and manufacturing partners. It is now rumored that AT&T’s version of the Touch Pro2 is rumored for that release date as well, and we’re hoping we get to see Windows Mobile 6.5 come straight out of the box.

Update: The revised target launch is now October 18 due to some last minute bugs according to BGR.

AT&T’s version will most likely be called the Tilt2.
