The Windows Mobile Tablet: C-motech Mangrove

If you're aching for a mobile internet device that's in the form of a tablet and is lightweight, perhaps you should look no further than Windows Mobile to power said device. It looks like C-motech did in their 7-inch Mangrove tablet, a device that boasts Windows Mobile 6.5, an OS that's been re-designed for touch and finger-friendliness.

The device may not show up on US shores, but it sure looks hot. With Windows Mobile's support for resistive screens, this can be a lightweiht note-taking companion that's less expensive than a full-blown Windows Tablet PC.

The device is expected to run on a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, with USB ports--that's right you get USB hosting on two ports--headphone jack, your requisite WiFi, microSD card, and 3G or WiMax options for wireless. This may be the couch-surfer's dream device for internet browsing at home.
