The True Windows Phone With Tilt Screen: Look Out Touch Pro2, It Runs on XP

This one is actually a mobile internet device (MID), which is a bit smaller than a typical 10-inch netbook like the Verizon HP Mini-Note. With a 4.5-inch screen at WVGA resolution (480 X 800), the screen actually tilts like our new favorite Touch Pro2, except the DigiCube MIDPhone-50 actually runs on Windows XP. It sports a 3G radio, more like 3.5 G with HSPA, and has the typical netbook specs: 1.6 GHz Intel Atom processor, 1 GB RAM, capacitive touch mouse pad on the side of the screen, Bluetooth, and WiFi.

Sadly, it’s quite large for a phone–please use a Bluetooth headset rather than sticking this thing to your head. Moreover, the battery only lasts for two hours on a single charge.

Looks like this one is quite deserving of the Windows Phone moniker as it actually does run a full blow Windows XP operating system.
