T-Mobile Touch Pro2 Supports 3G and Passes the FCC

For those of you concerned that the Touch Pro2 coming to T-Mobile USA won’t be supporting USA 3G bands, rest assured it will, though you will be limited in the roaming department as the device only supports the frequencies used by T-Mobile USA. The device, code named the Rhodium by HTC, got the seal of approval from the FCC, according to CellPhone Signal.

The Touch Pro2 was originally announced at Mobile World Congress earlier this year. It is one of the known devices to get an upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.5 with a Windows Mobile 6.1 launch. Since the Touch Pro2 will sport much of the same internal software that the Diamond2 will come with, you can read our Diamond2 review for more information.
