T-Mobile Doing Buy One, Get One Promotion for Smartphones?

While not quite as good as the “every-phone-in-the-store-is-free” promotion that the company ran on Father’s Day, T-Mobile will reportedly be offering a deal that should entice quite a few near-term buyers, presenting a “buy-one-get-one-free” sale on all smartphones for the better part of two months.

If screenshots leaked to TmoNews prove to be accurate, the smallest of the Big Four carriers will have a BOGO promotion going on from September 8th through November 2nd, with popular models such as the Galaxy S-variant Samsung Vibrant, mammoth HTC HD2, and RIM’s latest member of the Bold lineup, the BlackBerry 9700.

Of course the small print here is worth noting, such as the fact that customers will pay for the higher-priced handset and get the cheaper one for free, and that pricey data-inclusive contracts are required for both phones.
