Engadget Mobile is reporting that the HTC Raphael, successor to the HTC TyTN II/AT&T Tilt is coming to Europe to T-Mobile. The phone features a sliding QWERTY keyboard in landscape mode with design features taking inspiration from the recently announced HTC Diamond.
The HTC Raphael will feature an FM radio, HSDPA for fast data access, VGA touchscreen, 256 MB RAM, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, and a 3 megapixel camera. The downside is that it is tri-band GSM, meaning that in its current rendition, a US release of this GSM version will not be likely as it doesn’t feature US GSM frequency support. However, there will be a CDMA/EVDO model for Sprint. AT&T or T-Mobile USA may decide to release this device in the future with US-specific GSM and HSPA bands.
