Sprint Samsung Moment Gets Firmware Update; Caveat: Not Over-The-Air.

The Android Samsung Moment, which debuted at CTIA, is getting some minor fixes from Sprint in the firmware update. GPS and battery life are two of the features that are said to be improved as a result of the upgrade. The caveat here is that you’d have to bring your Moment to a Sprint retail store with technicians on-board to get the upgrade loaded. If it’s any consolation, Sprint is promising that firmware over-the-air (OTA) upgrades for Android will be enabled in the future.
