Sprint Rumored to Get Touch Pro2 in June

Although the Palm Pre may be Sprint's flagship phone, the Touch Pro2 is rumored to launch in the same month with the carrier aiming for a mid-June launch, if rumors on Engadget Mobile are to be true.

The angle of the photo in the shot re-posted below makes the Touch Pro2 screen look as if it can tilt more than it should, a question we've been waiting to answer with our own Touch Pro2 once it arrives. You can check out some early Touch Pro2 shots of the GSM variety as well.

The Sprint version should be a global phone version, meaning that it will support CDMA/EVDO technology on Sprint's network in the USA and have a SIM tray for GSM support when traveling abroad. Let's see which US carrier gets the Touch Pro2 launched first--the race is on! If the Sprint time frame is true, Sprint will have beaten the rumored July launch date of T-Mobile USA.
