According to the latest reports, Sprint’s version of the CDMA HTC Snap sans trackball has been pushed back to a June 21st launch. The carrier was supposed to have launch the handset this previous weekend, but instead opted to push the Windows Mobile device back to accommodate for the Palm Pre.
With a two-year service agreement, the Snap on Sprint should be priced at around $150.
Sprint’s staggered timing should give the carrier a little nudge, aptly launching the Pre before the iPhone 3G S announcement and the Snap right after the iPhone 3G S goes on sale on rival AT&T.
All four carriers have flagship smartphone devices now. Verizon Wireless has the BlackBerry Storm, AT&T has the iPhone, Sprint comes in with the Palm Pre, and T-Mobile is with the G1. Where’s the love for Windows Mobile?
