This has just been announced at Barcelona and Engadget has got some shots of the XPERIA X1, which will feature US 3G support. The design is attractive, and will be the first time that Sony Ericsson will license Windows Mobile.
Sony Ericsson has traditionally used the UIQ operating system, which runs on top of Symbian OS, on its high-end PDA phones.
The device will feature a unique arc-sliding keyboard, WVGA screen, and GPS. It is expected to ship in select markets in the second half of 2008. A live picture of the device can be found here.
This looks like a great handset. Sony Ericsson has traditional designed some great phones.
