We’ve been keeping an eye at the work Sony Ericsson has been doing to deliver on their promise of bringing more panels (or getting others to make them) to the XPERIA X1. Recently we mentioned the new Windows Live and Facebook panel that has been added to the selection.

Well now, there has been an update to the Panel website that you access from your X1. They’ve added several links along the top which will give you access to some free wares. I’ll cover them from left to right:

- The Home button the left is just an index

- The Ringtone button lets you download 15 quality ring tones (though of course, you have to set the ringtone manually)

- The gears button is for applications, and right now only Opera Mini is listed

- The third button is for panels (with the current choice of 6)

- The Paintbrush button is for themes, of which there are just one

- On the far right is a Camera button with a choice of 5 wallpapers

Sony Ericsson is adding a lot of value to the XPERIA X1 by taking these steps, and hopefully they’ll continue the momentum =D.
