Following in the heels of other Samsung Android handsets before it like the Samsung Galazy i7500 and the Samsung Behold2 for T-Mobile USA, the Korean phone maker has just unveiled the Samsung Galaxy i5700 called the Spica. The Galaxy Spica will be available in Europe, Middle East, and Asia.

The phone boasts a 13.2 mm thickness, a DivX support and a Google experience, which means that it won’t come with the cube UI that the Behold2 has. The device will also sport an 800 MHz processor and seems focused on multimedia with the 3.5 mm headphone jack.

The Spica looks to round out Samsung’s offering, with the Galaxy, Sprint Samsung Moment, and the T-Mobile Behold2. In HTC Windows Mobile comparison, the Galaxy will probably be the WinMo HTC Diamond2 equivalent, the Moment is comparable to the Touch Pro2 with the hardware keyboard, the Behold2 would be an Imagio competitor, and the Galaxy Spica may be the Touch2‘s closest match.
