Despite all the pictures of the Louvre floating around, according to WMPowerUser, those images are just mockups that they had made earlier this year of the new Samsung Louvre. The Samsung Glyde (you may have to enter zip to view) has been available on Verizon Wireless for quite sometime now. If internet rumors are correct and to be believed regarding the device’s appearance, then Samsung is porting the same design to a Windows Mobile smartphone known as the Louvre. Internationally, the Glyde’s design is carried over from the F700, and the Louvre will known as the Samsung B7610.
The Louvre features a sliding QWERTY hardware keyboard in landscape mode with chick-let style keys like those on Apple’s laptops and some of Sony’s VAIO machines. It is said to carry a five-megapixel camera, AGPS, and 3G.
