There are more rumors of the Project Pink smartphone. This time, Engadget Mobile is reporting that the phone will be based on Windows Mobile, have a touchscreen, and will feature multimedia capabilities aimed squarely at the iPhone. The device will have Windows Marketplace for seamless app downloads and will launch on Verizon Wireless if sources are to be believed. A third party will make the device.
No mention of Zune, in which Pink was previously linked to. Previous rumors had it that Pink will be the Zune with the added phone component.
