If you occasionally need to browse the net or look up something quick on your laptop or netbook and browsing on your phone just won’t cut it, then you may want to consider Virgin Mobile’s latest mobile broadband offering. A USB adapter plugs neatly into your computer, which can be easily swapped between machines, and costs $150 at Best Buy. The mobile broadband is pre-paid meaning there will not be any monthly or long term contracts. Plans start at $10 for 100 MB and go up to $60 for 1 GB of data. There are also a $20 250 MB and $30 600 MB plans as well. All plans, except the $10 plan, expires after the 30 days (the $10 expires in 10 days).
