PockeTwit just saw a slight revision upgrade to version 0.71 fro the previous 0.70 that adds a slew of new features for users who want to manage groups better on Windows Mobile devices. PockeTwit is one of the many Twitter clients for Windows Mobile, and certainly is one of the more competitive offerings available. The latest 0.71 revision is still undergoing trials. Click the jump to see the new group management features of PockeTwit 0.71.
According to Jake Stevenson, here are the new features:
1. Grouping: You can now group users together in categories to make it easier to manage the stream of information from people you follow!
2. Notifications: And it gets better, you can specify notifications on a group-by-group basis. Make your business group vibrate and play a loud sound, but move yourself into a silent group so you no longer get notifications about your own posts.
3. Picture Service Integration: Pikchur and Twitgoo integration now supported for mobile uploading of pictures.
4. Geo-tagging with GPS: GPS coordinations now also supported.
To try out the current 0.70 revision before the 0.71 version is released, you can download PockeTwit and start following pocketnow.com on Twitter on your Windows Phone.
