Opera announced that it will launch two new versions of its popular mobile web browsers at next week’s upcoming CTIA, Opera Mini 6 and Opera Mobile 11, the latter being available for Windows Phone 7 too.
The brand new Opera Mini browser will see the light of day in Florida and is destined for Android, BlackBerry, Symbian/Series 60 and J2ME phones while Opera Mobile 11 will add MeeGo in addition to Android, Symbian and Windows Phone 7. (Update: that’s Windows 7, not Windows Phone 7. Pity.)
No more information is known at the moment but we’ll surely get some more info with the occasion of our CTIA coverage so stay glued.
Opera browsers are already used by 100 million users on smartphones worldwide and with the recent deal to embed the software on mobile phones sold in China the figures could go sky-high
