Our review of the Omnia II shows a cool device from Samsung with TouchWiz–Samsung’s proprietary user interface–on top of a Windows Mobile 6.1 device. It looks like there is an edition of the Omnia II with Windows Mobile 6.5 out there in the wild which looks great as well. The difference? Well, you can’t really tell! Samsung hid away all the complexities of the Windows Mobile OS pretty darn well with 6.5 as it has with 6.1 and the result is that TouchWiz takes over much of the user elements. Nice job, Samsung!
