After losing ground in North America on the GSM side of things, Nokia is looking to take back North America with some attractive S60 handsets, sold carrier-unlocked for a relatively decent price. The candybar QWERTY Nokia E63 with American 3G bands can take on the BlackJack II at a price of just $279 unlocked. Engadget Mobile is also reporting that rumors have it that the Nokia 5800, also known as the “Tube,” will be dropping with North American 3G connectivity for $400 sometime this month.
