Nokia Software Updater Beta For Mac Available

Anton D. Nagy | March 17, 2011 7:49 AM

If you have a Mac computer and a Nokia smartphone — though most Mac users carry iPhones — you’ll be glad to find out that Nokia finally released a software updater that will work on Apple’s operating system.

Even though it’s still in a beta phase — or release candidate if you will — if will allow you to update the software on your Symbian device from a Mac computer. Expect some issues and bugs as usual with not final software but Nokia promises to update the application with fixes as well as added features in the future.

On a side note, if it’s neither Symbian nor iPhone smartphones you carry but who knows, maybe Windows Phone 7, check out the Mac Connector.
