Why won’t there be a Zune phone? Because Windows Mobile 7 series IS the Zune phone. The interface is heavily influences by the Zune HD UI with text-based menus and bold colors. The keyboard is right from the Zune, the browser is similar to the Zune, and the in-screen menus are similar to the Zune. But this isn’t a bad thing…the Zune HD interface has won acclaim from tech critics.

The email experience looks super simple but very fast. You can pivot from right to left to filter by various parameters.

The calendar application, too, is super simple and Zune-like. The white-on-black looks fantastic.
