For those on GSM who are jealous of their Verizon Wireless friends with the Motorola Droid, there may be some good news around the corner as the Motorola Droid will appear as the Motorola Milestone in GSM form and will be available for order on retailer eXpansys. The bad news is that getting the unlocked tri-band HSPA and quad-band EDGE/GSM handset will cost you a pretty £449.99. Otherwise, specs-wise, the device is similar to the CDMA/EVDO counterpart stateside on Verizon Wireless.

To order your Motorola Milestone and tell off your Droid-toting friends, you can head on over to eXpansys. The device will be compatible with AT&T’s 3G networks in the States.
