The Motorola Droid‘s release on Verizon Wireless is definitely a milestone for Motorola, a company that has been struggling since the iPhone. The company is definitely celebrating its mark of success. A GSM version of the CDMA Verizon Wireless handset will be launching on carrier O2 in Germany for $600 unsubsidized.

The Droid’s design with its angular feature, metal shell, and glass screen is reminiscent of the glory days of the MOTO RAZR.
