The bad news comes from DigiTimes officially, which is reporting that Motorola, a long-time Windows Mobile device maker, is scrapping plans on releasing a handset code-named Alexander. The Alexander, according to Boy Genius Report, is a handset with “a vertically-sliding QWERTY keypad, an 8 megapixel camera and an NVIDIA graphics chip that was rumored to be more than adept at spitting out 3D graphics.”

Also of news, the MOTOSURF handset, which was recently released to the Malaysian market has been scaled back in terms of production.
